PTI Certificate Programme Admission Form

The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has officially opened applications for the 2024/2025 academic session. This year, the institution offers full-time programmes in two unique Certificate Programmes, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply.

How to Apply for Admission into PTI Certificate Programmes

Candidates applying for the General Welding and Commercial Diving Programmes are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) for each PTI admission form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

Application Steps

Visit the PTI Portal: Go to PTI Applicants Sign-On Page.
Sign Up: Fill in the online “Sign on page” and click on “Click Here to Sign Up” at the bottom of the page. (Note: Write down the Username and Password for future use).
Generate RRR Code: This will take you to the Remittal Retrieval Reference (RRR) page where you generate the RRR code.
Make Payment: Print the RRR code page and take it to any bank for payment. Ensure you keep the RRR printout.
Complete Application: After paying the N15,000.00 fee, return to the PTI website and click on “Return to my Application.” Enter your Username and Password, click LOGIN, fill in the online application form, and print out the completed form. This form will be presented at the examination/interview center along with your RRR printout.
Troubleshooting Login Issues: If the portal rejects your Username and Password after payment, email [email protected] stating your RRR code.

Important Dates

General Welding Certificate Programme Entrance Examination: The date will be announced later at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State. Candidates should report a day before the examination to know their venue.
Commercial Diving Certificate Interview: The date will be announced later at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State.
Online Sales Period: Begins on June 17, 2024, and closes on August 9, 2024. The late online sale of HND admission forms starts on August 10, 2024, and concludes on August 18, 2024. Each form costs Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00).
